At the end of the road. . . the very end of the Peninsula is the small town of Las Galeras. There you will find the main beach
called Playa Grande, as well as Playita. all around the bay the town is surrounded by very secluded beaches like Playa Madame, Rincon and Playa Fronton. Madame and Fronton are only accessible by boat or by a fun hike across the mountain.
Las Terrenas is about one hour away with several beautiful beaches and many great French restaurants as well as night life.
Near the end of the Samaná Province is the town of Samaná. There you will find a few restaurants including Santorino, Bamboulá, Santa Bahia Kitchen & Bar, La Taberna and many more. In the evening you will also find several places to eat along the Malecón while enjoying the evening breeze.
